If you are going on Musicovery, you will find a very interesting system of finding music. With an innovative system, you only have to place the cursor in a square which represent the mood (energetic, calm, positive and dark). The application will find the appropriate sound in the music categories you have quoted. For me one of the best web site.

Pandora uses another system for searching music. Designed by the Music Genome Project, it allows you to create music radios by music or author names. Then the flash application create a station with numbers and numbers of songs like the one you have mentioned. It's user friendly with a great design, and give you the opportunity to hear new good sounds...just try it!

Have you already searched sounds of birds, cars, nature, objects, movies,...? You will find thousands of sounds on FindSounds. Sounds are in AIFF, AU or WAVE format. You can choose the channels (stereo or mono), the resolution, sample rate and file size. Easy to use and download.

The last one is a blog page with a very interesting application on it: a virtual ipod allows you to find songs. Just give key words and it will return you a playlist. This blog is in BETA version, so it is possible to find some little bugs on it...no matter, Blogmusik is useful!
